If $$12x = 19^2 - 11^2$$, what is the value of x?

Solution

Expression : $$12x = 19^2 - 11^2$$

=> $$12x = (19-11)(19+11)$$

=> $$12x = (8)(30)$$

=> $$x = \frac{8 \times 30}{12}$$

=> $$x = 2 \times 10 = 20$$

=> Ans - (A)
