Solution

Let the angle = $$\theta$$

Its supplementary angle = $$(\theta + 50$$°$$)$$

Sum of an angle and its supplementary angle = 180°

=> $$\theta + (\theta + 50$$°$$) = 180$$°$$$$

=> $$2 \theta = 180$$°$$ - 50$$°$$ = 130$$°$$$$

=> $$\theta = \frac{130}{2} = 65$$°$$$$
