Let breadth of rectangle = $$b$$ cm and length, $$l = 8$$ cm
Diagonal of rectangle = $$\sqrt{l^2+b^2}=10$$
=> $$(8)^2+(b)^2=(10)^2$$
=> $$(b)^2 = 100-64=36$$
=> $$b=\sqrt{36}$$ cm
$$\therefore$$ Area of rectangle = $$l \times b$$
=Â $$8 \times 6 = 48$$ $$cm^2$$
