Solution

Time taken to build the cupboard = 48 hours

Time spent = 12 hours

=> Fraction of the cupboard yet to be built = $$\frac{(48 - 12)}{48} = \frac{36}{48}$$

= $$\frac{3}{4} = 0.75$$
