A spaceship travels at 810 km/hr. How many metres does it travel in 1/5th of a second?
Solution
Speed of spaceship = 810 km/hr
=> Speed in m/s = $$810 \times \frac{5}{18}$$
= $$5 \times 45 = 225$$ m/s
Thus, in 1 second, it travels 225 metres
$$\therefore$$ In $$\frac{1}{5}^{th}$$ of a second, it travels = $$\frac{225}{5}=45$$ m
=> Ans - (B)
