In each of these questions two equations numbered I & II are given. You have to solve both the equations and give answer.

I. $$a^{2}=4$$
II. $$b^{2}=9$$

Solution

$$a^{2}=4$$ => a = $$ \pm$$ 2

$$b^{2}=9$$ => b = $$ \pm$$ 3

So, a is either less than or greater than b.
