30% of a number exceeds 25% of the same number by 27. What is the value of the number?

Solution

Let the number be $$100x$$

According to ques, => $$(\frac{30}{100}\times100x)-(\frac{25}{100}\times100x)=27$$

=> $$30x-25x=27$$

=> $$x=\frac{27}{5}=5.4$$

$$\therefore$$ Number = $$100\times5.4=540$$

=> Ans - (A)
