Let the angle = $$\theta$$
Its complementary angle = $$(\theta - 30$$°$$)$$
Sum of an angle and its complementary angle = 90°
=> $$\theta + (\theta - 30$$°$$) = 90$$°
=> $$2 \theta = 90$$°$$ + 30$$°$$ = 120$$°
=> $$\theta = \frac{120}{2} = 60$$°
