If Gafur's salary is 4/3 times of Haashim's and Satish's is 5/4 times of Haashim's, what is the ratio of Gafur's salary to Satish's?

Solution

Let Haashim's salary = $$12x$$

=> Gafur's salary = $$\frac{4}{3} \times 12x = 16x$$

=> Satish's salary = $$\frac{5}{4} \times 12x = 15x$$

$$\therefore$$ Ratio of Gafur's salary to Satish's = $$\frac{16x}{15x}$$

= 16 : 15

=> Ans - (A)
