The measures of the three angles of a triangle are in the ratio 3:4:5. What is the measure of the biggest angle?

Solution

Let the three angles of the triangle be $$3x , 4x , 5x$$

Sum of internal angles of a triangle = 180°

=> $$3x + 4x+5x = 180$$°

=> $$12x=180$$°

=> $$x=\frac{180}{12}=15$$°

$$\therefore$$ Biggest angle = $$5x=5\times 15=75$$°

=> Ans - (A)
