The length, breadth and height of a cuboid are 10 cm, 6 cm and 4 cm respectively. What is the total surface area?

Solution

Dimensions of cuboid $$l=10$$ cm , $$b=6$$ cm and $$h=4$$ cm

Total surface area of cuboid = $$2(lb+bh+hl)$$

= $$2[(10 \times 6)+(6 \times 4)+(4 \times 10)]$$

= $$2(60+24+40)$$

= $$2 \times 124 = 248$$ $$cm^2$$
