Let Marked Price = Rs. $$x$$
Selling price = Rs. 1680
Discount % = $$\frac{(x - 1680)}{x} \times 100 = 16$$
=> $$\frac{x-1680}{x} = \frac{16}{100} = \frac{4}{25}$$
=> $$25x - 42000 = 4x$$
=> $$25x - 4x = 21x = 42000$$
=> $$x = \frac{42000}{21} = Rs$$ $$2000$$
