Let $$m$$ should be added to 8(3x-4y) to obtain 18x-18y

=> $$(m) + [8(3x-4y)] = 18x-18y$$

=> $$m + 24x-32y=18x-18y$$

=> $$m = (32y-18y)+(18x-24x)$$

=> $$m=14y-6x$$
