Triangle ABC is right angled at B. BD is the altitude. AD is 8 cm and DC is 18 cm. Find length of BD?
Let BD = $$x$$ cm
Using, $$(BD)^2 = (AD) \times (CD)$$
=> $$(x)^2 = 8 \times 18 = 144$$
=> $$x = \sqrt{144} = 12$$ cm
=> Ans - (C)
