The two numbers are 63 and 77, HCF is 7, Find the LCM.

Solution

H.C.F. (a,b) $$\times$$ L.C.M. (a,b) = $$a \times b$$

The numbers a = 63 and b = 77 and HCF = 7

=> L.C.M. = $$\frac{a \times b}{HCF}$$

= $$\frac{63 \times 77}{7} = 63 \times 11$$

= 693
