Solution
Let original fare = Rs. $$x$$
=> New fare = Rs. $$2x$$
Also, original fare = $$175 = x$$
$$\therefore$$ Increase in fare = $$2x - x = x $$
= $$1 \times 175 = Rs. 175$$
