The ratio of the number of students admitted in the year 2002 to the average of the number of students passed out in the years 2003 and 2004. is
Solution
Number of students admitted in the year 2002 = 8000
Total number of students passed out in the years 2003 and 2004 = 9000+9000 = 18000
Average number of students passed out in the years 2003 and 2004 = $$\frac{18000}{2}=9000$$
=> Required ratio = $$\frac{8000}{9000}=\frac{8}{9}$$
=> Ans - (B)
