Solution

Assuming, marks in History= x and in Geography= y

Ratio of their marks= $$x\div y=5\div7$$ .....(i)

Since she got 14 marks more in Geography than in History,

So, (y-14)= x .....(ii)

Solving equation (i) & (ii) we get, x= 35 and y= 49

Therefore, Option D is correct.
