A bus covers a distance of 10 km in 12 minutes.
Speed = $$\frac{10}{\frac{12}{60}}$$
= $$\frac{10}{\frac{1}{5}}$$
= 50 km/h
If its speed is decreased by 25 km/h.
Time taken by the bus to cover the same distance = $$\frac{10}{50-25}$$
= $$\frac{10}{25}$$
= 0.4 hour
= $$0.4\times60$$ minutes
= 24 minutes
