Let's assume the third number is 100y.
Two numbers are, respectively, 25% and 30% less than a third number.
First number = 100y of (100-25)%
= 100y of 75%
= $$100y\times\frac{75}{100}$$
= 75y
Second number = 100y of (100-30)%
= 100y of 70%
= $$100y\times\frac{70}{100}$$
= 70y
Ratio of the first two numbers, in the order mentioned in the previous statement = 75y : 70y
= 15 : 14
