The ratio of the total production of cars of type C and E taken together in 2013 to the total production of cars of type D in 2014 and 2016 and type E in 2017 taken together is:

As per the given data in the question,

Total production of the car of type C and E in the 2013 $$= 52+36=88$$

Total production of the car of type D in 2014 and 2016 and type E in 2017 $$=42+46+55=143$$

Hence, the required ratio $$=\dfrac{88}{143}=\dfrac{8}{13}$$
