The expenditures on the interest on loans is more than the expenditures on transport by? (expenditure on the interest on loans = 17.5%)

Solution

% expenditures on the interest on loans = 17.5%

% expenditures on transport = 12.5%

$$\therefore$$ Expenditures on the interest on loans is more than the expenditures on transport by

= $$\frac{17.5-12.5}{12.5} \times 100$$

= $$5 \times 8=40\%$$
