Solution

$$men_1\times\ days_1\ =\ men_2\times\ days_2$$

$$X\times\ 15\ =\ X\times\ 3+\left(X+10\right)\times8$$

$$15X\ =\ 3X+8X+80$$

$$15X\ =\ 11X+80$$
$$15X\ -\ 11X\ =\ 80$$
$$4X\ =\ 80$$
$$X\ =\ 20$$
