Statement I: C is standing in between E and A.
Statement II: A is standing on one of the extremes.
Solution
I: The arrangement is either ECA or ACE. Thus, the question can’t be answered from this.
II: Either A is on right end or left end. Again the answer cannot be answered from this alone.
From I and II: Two arrangements are possible.
(i) ACE_ _
(ii) _ _ ECA
We can see that nothing can be said conclusively using even both the information together.
