Solution
Total cost of 30 kg rice = 30$$\times$$50 = 1500
Total cost of 20 kg rice = 20$$\times$$60=1200
Average cost of mixture = (total cost of 30 kg of rice + total cost of 20 kg rice )/total weight of rice = (1500+1200)/(30+20) = 2700/50 = Rs 54/kg
