The radius of a circular room is 21 metre. What will be the cost of carpeting the floor at the rate of Rs. 14 per square metre ?
Radius of room = 21 m
=> Area of room = $$\pi r^2$$
= $$\frac{22}{7} \times (21)^2 = 22 \times 3 \times 21$$
= $$1386 m^2$$
Cost of carpeting $$1 m^2 = Rs. 14$$
=> Cost of carpeting $$1386 m^2 = 14 \times 1386$$
= $$Rs. 19,404$$
