If $$\tan x = cot (65^\circ + 9x)$$, then what is the value of x ?

Solution

$$\tan x = cot (65^\circ + 9x)$$

that means,

$$cot (90^\circ - x) = cot (65^\circ + 9x)$$

Hence,

$$(90^\circ - x) = (65^\circ + 9x)$$

Hence, x = $$2.5^\circ$$
