$$\frac{12}{15}$$ of 40% of 1800 = ? $$\times$$ 480
Solution
$$12\ \frac{\ 15}{ }\times\ 40\ \frac{\ 100}{ }\times\ 1800=a\times\ 480$$
$$48\times\ 12=a\times\ 480$$
$$576=480a$$
$$576\ \frac{\ 480}{ }=a$$
$$a=1.2$$
