What is the difference between the average demand and the average production of the five companies taken together?

Share

Total Demand= 3000+ 600+ 2500+ 1200+ 3300= 10600

So, average demand= $$^{\ \frac{\ 10600}{5}}$$= 2120.

Total Production= 1500+1800+1000+2700+2200= 9200

Average Production= $$^{\ \frac{\ 9200}{5}}$$= 1840.

Therefore difference in average production and average supply= 2120-1840= 280- Option C
