Solution
The total production of type B cars in 2015 and type C cars in 2013 is = $$58+52$$= $$110$$
the total production of type E cars in 2013 and 2014 = $$43+47$$ = $$90$$
hence use this formula Increase in percentage (%) = $$\frac{110-90}{90}$$×100
= hence use this formula Increase in percentage (%) = $$\frac{20}{90}$$×100
= 22.22%
