Question 65

In $$\triangle ABC$$, if $$AB = AC$$ and $$\angle BAC = 40^\circ$$, then the measure of $$\angle B$$ is:

Solution

By the property,

When AB = AC then $$\angle ABC = \angle ACB$$

We know that,

$$\angle ABC + \angle ACB + \angle  BAC = 180^\circ$$

$$2\angle ABC = 180^\circ - 40^\circ$$

$$\angle ABC = 140/2 = 70^\circ$$
