(11-y) = y of 10%

$$(11-y)=y\times\frac{10}{100}$$

$$(11-y)=y\times\frac{1}{10}$$

(11-y)=0.1y

y+0.1y = 11

1.1y = 11

$$y=\frac{11}{1.1}$$

$$y=\frac{110}{11}$$

y = 10
