from the given data we know that 

total type D vehicles exported by company in the year 2016 is 47.5

and total type E vehicle exported by company in the same year is 52.5

now when we add the data of type D and E vehicles in 2016 we get 100 and 

silimarly

total type C vehicles exported by the company in the year 2017 is 52.5

and total type E vehicle exported by the company in the year 2017 is 62.5

 now adding the data of type C and E vehicles in 2017 we get 115 as total 

so the ratio is 100:115 i.e 20: 23
