The area of an equilateral triangle is $$(\sqrt{3}/4)a^{2}$$sq cm. What is its perimeter?
Solution
Area of an equilateral triangle=$$(\sqrt{3}/4)a^{2}$$
$$(\sqrt{3}/4)a^{2}$$=$$16 \sqrt{3}$$
$$a^{2}$$=64
a=8 cm
Perimeter of an equilateral triangle=3a
=3*8
=24 cm
