Study the given graph and answer the question that follows.
The revenue of the company in 2016 is by what percentage more than the average of the revenue in 2014, 2016 and 2018 (correct to the nearest integer)?
$$\frac{Sum\ of\ observation}{Number\ of\ observation}$$Revenue of company in 2016 = 340Â
Revenue of company in 2014 = 260Â
Revenue of company in 2018 = 375
As we know,Â
Average =Â $$\frac{Sum\ of\ observation}{Number\ of\ observation}$$
Average of company's revenue in 2014, 2016 and 2018 =Â $$\frac{260+340+375}{3}=\frac{975}{3}=325$$
Required % =Â $$\frac{340-325}{325}\times\ 100$$
=Â $$\frac{15}{325}\times\ 100=4.6\%\ \simeq\ 5\%$$
