Kapila bought 100 frocks at the rate of ₹320 each. Travel expenditure was ₹1000. If she increased the price of frock by ₹1.50 each and labour expenditure was ₹500 and she wants to make a profit of 10%, then what will be the selling price of each frock?
Kapila bought 100 frocks at the rate of ₹320 each.
Total price of all frocks = $$320\times100$$ = ₹32000
Travel expenditure was ₹1000 and labour expenditure was ₹500.
Total price of all frocks after adding expenditure = ₹32000 + ₹1000 + ₹500
= ₹33500
Now price of each frock = $$\frac{33500}{100}$$ = ₹335
If she increased the price of frock by ₹1.50 each.
Now price of each frock = ₹335 +₹1.50
= ₹336.5
she wants to make a profit of 10%.
selling price of each frock = ₹336.5 of (100+10)%
= ₹336.5 of 110%
= $$336.5\times\frac{110}{100}$$
= $$336.5\times\frac{11}{10}$$
= ₹370.15
