A bus covers a distance of 1.8 km in 3 minutes. How much faster(in m/s) is it than a young athlete who runs 200 m in 25 s?

Solution

Speed of young athlete = $$\frac{200}{25} = 8m/s$$

Speed of bus = $$\frac{1.8 \times 1000}{3 \times 60} = 10m/s $$

Difference between them is 2m/s.

So, the answer would be option c)2.
