Solution

= $$\frac{17-8\times5+4\times3}{5\times3\div6+2\times4}$$

= $$\frac{17-40+12}{5\times\frac{3}{6}+8}$$

= $$\frac{29-40}{5\times\frac{1}{2}+8}$$

= $$\frac{-11}{2.5+8}$$

= $$\frac{-11}{10.5}$$

= $$\frac{-110}{105}$$

= $$\frac{-22}{21}$$
