The sides of a triangle are in the ratio 4 : 3 : 2. If the perimeter of the triangle is 63 cm, then what will be the length of the largest side?

Solution

Let the sides of the triangle be 4x cm, 3x cm, 2x cm.
Perimeter of the triangle = 4x+3x+2x = 9x cm
Given, 9x = 63 => x = 7
Therefore, Length of the largest side = 4x = 4*7 = 28 cm
