Solution

The Venn diagram for the syllogism is as shown in the diagram below:

Only conclusion 1 ie. "Some roads are boards" is implied from the diagram. The other three conclusions are not implied. Since none of the options has "only conclusion 1 is implied", we choose (E) None of the above.
