Let the required number = a

According to the problem,

$$\frac{1}{5}\times\frac{1}{4}\times a=35$$

$$=$$> $$a=35\times5\times4$$

$$=$$> $$a=700$$

$$=$$> $$\frac{7}{8}a=\frac{7}{8}\times700=612.5$$

$$\therefore\ $$Seven-eighth of the number = $$612.5$$

Hence, the correct answer is Option B
