If '+' means 'x', '-' means '+', 'x' means '÷' and '÷' means '-' , then, 8 x 4 - 6 ÷ 3 + 1 = ?

Solution

After rearranging,

$$8\div4+6-3\times1$$

$$=2+6-3\times1$$

$$=2+6-3$$

$$=8-3$$

$$=5.$$

D is correct choice.
