A circle circumscribes a rectangle whose sides are in the ratio 4 : 3. If the perimeter of the rectangle is 56 cm, then what is the area (in cm$$^2$$) of the circle?

Solution

we know 

perimeter of rectangle is 2(l+b) which is equals to 56 as given where L is the length and B is the breadth of the rectangle 

and area of circle is pi to the square of radius
