Question 61

What is the value of
$$\frac{72 \div 9 + 3 - 6 - (2 \times 3) + 5  of  3 - (1 + 5 \times 2 - 2)}{8 \div 4 + 2 - (6 \times 8 \div 2) + (7 \times 4 - 2 \times 2)}$$?

Solution

$$\frac{72 \div 9 + 3 - 6 - (2 \times 3) + 5 of 3 - (1 + 5 \times 2 - 2)}{8 \div 4 + 2 - (6 \times 8 \div 2) + (7 \times 4 - 2 \times 2)}$$

= $$\frac{8 + 3 - 6 - 6 + 15 - (1 + 10 - 2)}{2 + 2 - (6 \times 4) + (28 - 4)}$$

= $$\frac{8 + 3 - 6 - 6 + 15 - 9}{2 + 2 - 24 + 24}$$

=$$\frac{5}{4}$$

So, the answer would be option b)$$\frac{5}{4}$$
