If $$a : b = 2 : 5$$ then $$(3a + 4b) : (5a + 6b)$$ is equal to
$$\frac{13}{20}$$
$$\frac{26}{33}$$
$$\frac{16}{27}$$
$$\frac{18}{35}$$
Let $$a=2$$ and $$b=5$$
To find =Â $$(3a + 4b) : (5a + 6b)$$
= $$\frac{3(2)+4(5)}{5(2)+6(5)}=\frac{(6+20)}{(10+30)}$$
= $$\frac{26}{40}=\frac{13}{20}$$
