What is the difference between total number of bags sold by stores M and N together in 2005 and that in 2007 ?

Solution

Bags sold in by M in 2005 = 310

Bags sold by N in 2005 = 370

=>Total bags sold in 2005 = 310+370 = 680

Bags sold by M in 2007 = 260

Bags sold by N in 2007 = 180

=>Total bags sold in 2007 = 260+180 = 440

Required difference = 680-440 = 240
