The value of discount of 18% on first article is equal to the value of discount of 13% on second article. What is the ratio of the marked price of two articles?

Solution

Let marked price of both articles be Rs. $$x$$ and Rs. $$y$$ respectively.

According to ques,

=> $$\frac{18}{100}\times x=\frac{13}{100}\times y$$

=> $$\frac{x}{y}=\frac{13}{18}$$

$$\therefore$$ Ratio of the marked price of two articles = 13 : 18

=> Ans - (C)
