Solution

Let the number be $$x$$

According to ques,

=> $$\frac{4}{5} \times \frac{6}{7} \times x = 216$$

=> $$x = 216 \times \frac{35}{24} = 9 \times 35$$

$$\therefore$$ 8/9th of the number = $$\frac{8}{9} \times (35 \times 9)$$

= $$8 \times 35 = 280$$

=> Ans - (B)
