The radius of the circle is 14 cm, an arc is subtend an angle 54 degree at center. Find the length of the arc (in cm).
Solution
Radius of circle = $$14$$ cm and angle subtended by arc = $$54^\circ$$
Length of arc = $$\frac{\theta}{360^\circ}\times2\pi r$$
= $$\frac{54}{360}\times2\times\frac{22}{7}\times14$$
= $$\frac{3}{20}\times22\times4$$
= $$\frac{66}{5}=13.2$$ cm
=> Ans - (B)
