If 4 men can reap a field in 5 days working 9 hours a day, in how many days can 10 men reap the same field working 6 hours a day?

Solution

As we know,

$$\frac{M_1\times\ D_1\times\ H_1}{W_1}=\frac{M_2\times\ D_2\times\ H_2}{W_2}$$

Here, M = number of persons enganged in work

D = Number of days

H = Number of hours

Given in question ,

4 men take 5 days working 9 hours a day to reap a field

$$\therefore\ \frac{4\times5\times9}{1}=\frac{10\times\ D_2\times\ 6}{1}$$

$$\therefore\ D_2=3\ days$$

Hence, Option C is correct.
